Mr. Burton Chan
陳書賢先生

Mr. Burton Chan is a seasoned logistics professional and philanthropist whose career spans over three decades across more than twenty countries. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he rose through the ranks of the international logistics industry — working with leading British, American, and Middle Eastern firms — before founding his own enterprises.
In 2000, driven by a deep commitment to education and social welfare, Mr. Chan established the Chan Shu Yin Foundation to support educational initiatives in Hong Kong and mainland China. The Foundation has since funded scholarships, rebuilt school facilities, sponsored international STEM competitions, and championed aviation education programmes.
In 2010, Mr. Chan founded Bolly Express Logistics Limited, an e-commerce logistics platform providing bespoke supply chain solutions. The company name — derived from "Brolly," meaning umbrella — reflects his philosophy of protection and care. Its partners include China Post, Hongkong Post, Asendia, British Airways, and Singapore Airlines.
A lifelong learner, Mr. Chan holds a Master of Arts in Comparative and Public History from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) and serves as Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation.
Beyond business, Mr. Chan is an avid footballer and community builder. He founded the Health Action magazine in 2006 to bridge the gap between medical professionals and the public, making healthcare information accessible to all. His philosophy is simple yet profound: take the first step, never give up, and always give back.

"Whatever you do, there will be times of failure. That's alright — put it down for a while, come back in a few days and see if there's a way to fix it. If not, wait a little longer. But never give up."
